While Georgians Suffer Under ObamaCare, Nunn Celebrates It’s Fourth Birthday with Big Checks from ObamaCare Supporters

Four years ago this Sunday, ObamaCare was signed into law.  Since then, millions of Americans have lost their health insurance and their doctor, watched health care costs skyrocket, and seen the national debt grow to more than $16 trillion.  In Georgia alone, the state’s Insurance Commissioner estimates 400,000 people have lost or will lose their health insurance because of ObamaCare.  And every day we are hearing more stories about Georgia companies cutting health benefits for employees or even shuttering their doors because of the additional costs ObamaCare has placed on our small businesses.

But you can bet that if Michelle Nunn is elected to the US Senate in November, she will be one more vote to keep this terrible law that is hurting Georgians in place because she’s been raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars from DC special interest groups and Super PACs that support the law.

Take Harry Reid for example, who famously said that ObamaCare “has been wonderful for America.”  His Searchlight Leadership Fund has donated $10,000 to Nunn.  And liberal Super PAC EMILY’s List that promotes abortion with essentially no limitations and supports American taxpayers paying for abortions has helped her raise more than $100,000.  She’s even traveling to Chicagonext Friday to speak at their event.  Plus we all know what Vice President Joe Biden thinks about the law after he was overheard saying the law was “a big…deal.”  And he was just in Atlanta earlier this month snarling rush hour traffic to host a fundraiser for Nunn.

Georgians deserve better than a true blue liberal Democrat who doesn’t support repealing ObamaCare and will only help Obama and Harry Reid keep the disastrous law on the books.
