F’ville Council unlocks new west side, OKs sewer bid | The Citizen

Let the sewer lines be extended, the Fayetteville City Council said last week.

Construction at Pinewood Atlanta Studios is underway with a planned opening in January. Tied to the development is the installation by Fayetteville of the section of sewer lines to serve Pinewood and other related projects expected in the area of Veterans Parkway and Sandy Creek Road. The council on Sept. 5 unanimously approved a $1.596 million sewer extension bid.

“This is Phase I of the sewer master plan to provide sewer capacity to the west Fayetteville area,” Fayetteville Public Services Director Chris Hindman said in an Aug. 27 letter.
