The Fulton County Commission has decided not to pursue a millage rate increase to help fund Grady Memorial Hospital.
Had the increase considered been approved, owners of a $200,000 home would pay about $97 more a year, reports Atlanta Business Chronicle broadcast partner WXIA-TV.
Chairman John Eaves said he received a lot of feedback from citizens.
“No one wants a millage or tax increase right now,” said Eaves.
