WARNER ROBINS — A familiar face joined the race for an abandoned Warner Robins council seat on the final day of qualifying for the special election.

Bob Wilbanks, 53, signed up for the race for his former Post 4 seat Thursday morning, becoming the third candidate to attempt to take over the final two years of the term Mike Brashear vacated last week to run for the mayor’s office.

Ben Campbell, a program manager at Robins Air Force Base, and local businessman Tim Thomas qualified for the Post 4 seat earlier this week.
