SAVANNAH, GA – Dr. Bob Johnson of Isle of Hope announced his candidacy for Georgia’s First Congressional District on Saturday. Emphasizing his compelling personal story, significant professional background and conservative principles, Dr. Johnson made his announcement before a crowd at the Chatham County Republican Party’s Monthly Membership Meeting in Savannah.

“What I see in Washington D.C. are politicians, practicing politics as usual. We don’t need any more politicians in Washington, we need real conservative leaders, who will do the right thing for Georgia,” Johnson said in his announcement speech.
