COLQUITT, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is probing the death of a south Georgia sheriff.

Authorities say Miller County Sheriff H.E. Glass, known as “Buddy,” was found dead at his home in Colquitt Saturday morning.

WALB-TV reports officials have not disclosed how Glass died, but said his wife found him lying in a pond behind their house after she came home from work.
