Conservative Republican Dr. Bob Johnson Banks Over $100,000 in Three Weeks in His Bid for GA-01

Fellow Conservatives and Physicians Provide Strong Grassroots Support

Tuesday, July 9, 2013

Savannah, GA – Conservative candidate for Georgia’s First Congressional District Dr. Bob Johnson, the only candidate to have signed the Americans for Tax Reform Pledge not to raise taxes, today filed his second quarter Federal Elections Commission financial report which shows $106,610 cash on hand after expenses.  The report covers the period from April 1 to June 30.  Dr. Johnson announced his candidacy on June 8 and thus raised this amount in only three weeks prior to the end of the reporting period.
“Our campaign has gained momentum and support from day one. The strong financial backing from my fellow conservatives and fellow doctors is further proof that the people of Georgia’s First District are looking for a conservative candidate with real life experiences as an Army Ranger and surgeon and not politics as usual,” Dr. Johnson said about the support his campaign has received.
