COLLINS VOTES TO DEFUND OBAMACARE

Northeast Georgia’s Congressman to U.S. Senate: “Stand up to Reid and pass this CR.”

WASHINGTON, September 20 – Congressman Doug Collins (GA-09) today voted for H. J. Res. 59, the continuing resolution to keep the government running while defunding the burdensome Affordable Care Act. Congressman Collins said:

“Today the House worked the will of the people who sent us to Washington stop this trainwreck. Obamacare is such a burden on the American people that today’s vote should have been unanimous. Now, the Senate must act. Every United States Senator who listens to his or her constituents should stand up to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and pass this CR.”

The CR that passed today now goes to the Senate for consideration.
