GAINESVILLE – Dr. David Vogel announced his candidacy for Georgia’s 9th District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in Gainesville Saturday. The post is now held by Doug Collins of Gainesville, who is in his first term in Congress.
Dr. Vogel plans to run in the Democratic Primary on May 20. Collins is a Republican.
