Common Core: A Primer on the Curriculum, and the Debate About It, from WABE’s Martha Dalton | WABE 90.1 FM

While much of the buzz [at the 2013 Georgia Republican Party State Convention] will center on a crowded Republican U.S. Senate primary field, there will likely also be some debate about the Common Core Curriculum, a new set of standards for students.

Georgia has joined most other states in adopting Common Core, but some state Republicans strongly oppose it.

WABE’s Martha Dalton gave a Common Core primer to “All Things Considered” host Denis O’Hayer.
