Commissioners to speak on sales tax, stormwater fee | The Augusta Chronicle

A neighborhood group will give three Augusta Com­mission members a forum to present their views on topics Monday.

The West Augusta Alli­ance has invited Commissioners Mary Davis, Donnie Smith and Grady Smith.

They are scheduled to speak about the $194.3 million special purpose local option sales tax package. They will also present their positions on implementing a stormwater fee, and their efforts “to improve west Augusta and our neighborhoods,” according to a news release.
