Bill Grant, chairman of the Canton Main Street Board, has thrown his hat into the ring for the Ward 2 City Council post now held by Bill Bryan, who does not plan to seek re-election in the Nov. 5 election.
“I am honored and excited to announce my candidacy for Ward 2 in the upcoming November election for Canton City Council,” Grant said during the announcement. “As a resident in Canton’s Historic District and a business and property owner in downtown Canton, I believe my well-rounded perspective will be an asset to the city of Canton and its citizens.”
