Democratic Candidate Michelle Nunn made a stop in Albany Friday morning during a ten-city tour through Georgia, as she runs for Senate.

Nunn began her tour Wednesday with her family in Macon and will conclude next week in Atlanta.

She arrived at the Albany ARC preschool around 10:00 to meet with volunteers at the organization, as she plans to do in each city, as a message during her race for retiring senate Saxby Chambliss’s seat.

“I will be able to make a real difference, by doing things that are important to Georgians, by cutting the deficit, helping to create jobs and creating an opportunity for, like these kids, to reach their greatest, you know, potential,” Nunn said. “We’re going to sites like this and volunteering, learning and engaging and hopefully showing Washington how to get things done and how to drive real solutions, which is not happening right now.
