Adoptable (Official) Georgia Dogs for March 14, 2022

Anna is a female Golden Retriever and Husky mix who is available for adoption from the Atlanta Humane Society.

Hello, my name is Anna! My previous owner could no longer care for me, so I was brought here to find my forever home! I would do best in a home with children over 10. I was previously altered and ready to meet my true forever family! I am living in a foster home where I can relax.

Chicken is a male Retriever mix who is available for adoption from the Atlanta Humane Society.

Hi, my name is Chicken! The volunteers quickly learned that I am a very friendly guy who loves to be pet and loved. I am a great snuggler. I am a little scared of the outside world.. where I got my name from. Did I mention how soft and beautiful my coat is? And what about those adorable little freckles on my nose? How can you resist? I would love for you to come meet me at the shelter. I would do best in a home with a fenced yard as I am still learning that walking on a leash isn’t scary.

P.S. I qualify for Foster First, which means you can foster me for 14 days prior to adoption to ensure I’m the perfect fit for your family!

Tristan is a young male mixed breed dog who is available for adoption from the Atlanta Humane Society.

Hi, I’m Tristan. I’m a young guy and haven’t outgrown my puppyhood yet, so I could use some training if you have the time to teach me. I need help with leash manners, and lots of exercise to run off my puppy energy because I want to play all the time. After playtime, I can settle down and am ready for cuddling. I’m a fun-loving dog, smart, know some commands, (sit and shake), love to run and play with tennis balls. I love to be petted, and also love a good long, nap. I’m almost always go potty outside, and I love my crate–it’s my calm, safe place. I’m currently living in a foster home in an apartment, so I tend to bark when I hear things in the hallway and walkway, etc. I would do best in a home with a yard, maybe a fenced yard would be nice–that way, I would have lots of room and can entertain myself outside. I have lived with other dogs, and we got along great, so please consider bringing them in to meet me. I don’t have any known history with cats or children. I hope you will come meet me soon, so we can start having a blast together! Love, Tristan
