Adoptable (Official) Georgia Dogs for July 31, 2024

Briley is a young female Yorkshire Terrier & Wirehaired Terrier mix who is available for adoption from the Fayette Humane Society in Fayetteville, GA.

She is a nine month old big yorkie or wirehaired terrier mix. She is almost full grown and weighs about 16 pounds. She is 9 and a half months old. She is an ACTIVE girl and she needs a doggy playmate and an active home! Briley is good with other dogs and with kids, but not with cats. She has a high prey drive and will chase cats, rabbits, squirrels…. She also needs a fenced in yard or she is off like a shot! She is house trained and crate trained. She can be naughty with chewing her toys and bedding up.

Briley came to us on death’s door and needed lots of emergency medical care and a blood transfusion to save her life. Her adoption fee is a little higher because of that.

Hank is a young male Rottweiler & Labrador Retriever mix who is available for adoption from the Fayette Humane Society in Fayetteville, GA.

Hank is a wonderful 1 year old mixed breed dog who is looking for his forever home! He is full grown and weighs about 55 pounds. He is a high energy boy who is great with other dogs and with kids. However, he may be too much for toddlers and small kids since he loves to jump up while he is playing. He does not know his own size and he is still very much a baby himself. He has seen cats and he is curious about them. He loves to go on walks, but he needs a family who can take him on longer walks/runs to help with his energy. We also think that he would do best with a fenced in yard where he can be off leash and playing fetch or running around with another dog.

Mini is a young female Australian Shepherd mix who is available for adoption from the Fayette Humane Society in Fayetteville, GA.

Who is GREAT with kids?? MINI! She LOVES kids and an active household is her favorite!

She is playful, loving, and cuddly! Mini loves to play with other dogs, loves people, is good with kids, and ignores the cats in her home. She loves to snuggle, is crate trained at night, and is working on housetraining. She knows “sit and is working on “down. She’s very treat motivated so should be easy to train for her future family! Oh and did we mention that she has a bob tail like her parents? It’s super cute! See, momma is an Australian Shepherd and dad is a Cane Corso- her owners owned both parents! We think that she will reach about 45-50 ish pounds or so based on her size right now. She currently weighs about 38 pounds and is 7 months old
