Charlie was transferred in from an open admission animal control facility. He is all hound, for sure! At 50 pounds he is of course quite strong and can be rambunctious as well. Charlie will do best with an active family with previous dog experience, preferably familiar with the breed. He loves people and appears happy and eager to please.
Doyle is a little doll! He is so friendly and has never met a person or dog that he doesn’t like. He is so friendly and easy going that he is often a participant in “meets and greets” to see how reactive other dogs are. Doyle always passed the test, even if others didn’t! Sadly, Doyle arrived heartworm positive, so he is being treated. However, he is still available for foster to adopt, which means he can bond with his new family while under the veterinarian’s care here.
Opal’s adoption fee has been paid. Opal is down on her luck and really needs your help. She is the rescue’s longest term resident and as great as the shelter is, it’s no home. Opal was surrendered due to a living situation. She is an absolute sweetheart with people and loves attention. She also bonds quickly with her human and is protective. Opal loves attention so much that she is not willing to share it with any dog or cat. If you are looking for an only pet to love forever, who also has a charmingly crooked nose
