Ladybug is a young Chihuahua mix about 2-3 years old, weighing about 10 pounds. This sweet girl came to our rescue with her three adorable puppies, and now that they have head off on their own adventures, she’s ready to find a forever home where she can be the one getting all the love and attention!
She may be a little shy at first, once Ladybug warms up she becomes a loyal little shadow. She loves following her people around the house. She’s affectionate, gentle, and loves lounging in the fenced yard at her foster home soaking up the sun! Ladybug is highly food-motivated — a perfect combo for learning tricks! Ladybug is ready to trade in her mama duties for a lifetime of love and being spoiled!
Meet Piper— an adorable Chihuahua mix! (Perhaps a Chiweenie?) She is around two years old and weighs about 13 pounds. Piper found herself in a local shelter after being seized by authorities in a horrific hoarding case. Due to her lack of socialization, she was at risk for euthanasia. Thankfully, Tiny Paws was able to step up and save her!
Due to her past, Piper is a nervous girl and is still learning how to trust, love, and feel safe in this world! Piper’s journey in her foster home hasn’t always been easy, but she’s made great progress. She is still very skittish and easily startled, so she’s looking for an experienced, calm, and understanding adopter who can continue the gentle, patient care she’s been receiving in her foster home. She enjoys snuggling and playing with her foster siblings and we would love to see her go to a home with a confident dog around her size to help show her the ropes! What Piper needs most is a consistent environment where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. With time, love, and patience, we know this sweet girl will continue to shine!
Piper is not comfortable on a leash and will require a secure, private fenced-in yard where she can safely play, explore, and potty. Due to her skittish nature, she would not do well in a home with children or with frequent young visitors.
Bitsy is a sweet 2-year-old Westie mix who weighs 18 lbs. She came to us from a rural shelter where she and her sister Betsy were both scheduled to be euthanized. Tiny Paws stepped up right away to save their lives! They came to us pretty fearful of humans, but their foster mom has worked diligently to teach them they are loved, and not all humans are bad. Betsy has found her forever home and now it’s time for Bitsy to find a perfect home of her own.
Bitsy has come so far since being in her foster home! While Bitsy is still a little shy, we feel confident she will flourish in her forever home with some well deserved TLC. She is a very sweet girl and great with the other dogs in her foster home. We would love to see her go to a home with another confident dog that can continue to teach her the ropes of being a well-loved pup! So at this time, we are requiring another dog in the home. We are also requiring a fenced yard for Bitsy for her safety. Can you give this girl the loving home she deserves?
Preston is a young male Puggle mix puppy who is available for adoption from Tiny Paws Rescue in Atlanta, GA.
Preston is a 1-year-old mixed breed cutie who weighs 14 pounds. Preston and his sister Penny came from a hoarding situation that landed them in a local county shelter. Due to their skittish nature and fear of humans, they were at a high risk for euthanasia. Luckily for them, Tiny Paws was able to step up and pull them from the shelter. They have since come a long way, but still have progress to be made. Penny has found herself a new home and now we are looking for a foster-to-adopt or adopter for Preston. We are confident he will thrive in the right home.
Preston needs a home with a fenced yard and a dog friend larger than him that can help show him the ropes. Ideally his new home would also have experience with an under-socialized dog. Preston absolutely loves being outside and would stay in the yard 24/7 if it was up to him. Preston would do well on a farm or a home with land, as long as he has a fully fenced area to play in. Preston is not comfortable walking on a leash, so he is not a good fit for apartment living. He enjoys playing in the yard with the other dogs in his foster home, but also loves playing with toys, even by himself! He will toss a toy up in the air and entertain himself. When he is done playing, he likes to curl up on the couch for a nap. We believe Preston has so much potential and he needs a family who can see that as well.
