Meet handsome Leonard! He was surrendered to the shelter on 12/2, because his family could no longer care for him. His former family did leave us with some great information. They said Leonard is housetrained, crate-trained, good with kids, and good with other dogs. He sounds like the perfect gentleman! We sure hope sweet Leonard doesn’t have to spend much time in the shelter. It is no place for a dog in their golden years. The volunteers just adore this boy! They have discovered that Leonard is quiet inside his kennel, but playful outside. He really enjoys getting some fresh air on his walks!

This sweetheart is Bean! He was surrendered to the shelter on 12/8 because someone in the household was allergic. Bean is so very sweet and quiet in his kennel. He’s probably wondering what he’s done to land him in an overcrowded shelter. The volunteers say that Bean sits nicely when asked, and he is a fun and playful guy! Bean’s former owner did say that Bean is house-trained and good with kids. We’re hoping Bean gets his Christmas wish and finds a new, loving home in time for the holidays!
Bean is 2 years old, and he weighs 42 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Please say hello to the adorable low rider named Draco! Draco arrived at the shelter on 12/8 because his former owner’s landlord suddenly decided that Draco wasn’t welcomed anymore. Draco is very sweet and very cute. He is slowly adjusting to his new surroundings despite being placed in a loud, overcrowded shelter. He is the cutest little guy ever! He is hoping to find a loving person soon that will actually take the time to train him properly to keep him safe in his home and be patient with him and keep him in a stable home that will make him welcomed always. He needs someone that will be there for him in his life EVERYDAY!! He is super intelligent as he knows how to sit pretty well and is gentle. He is eager to please and a natural at learning new things.
Draco is current on vaccines, will be neutered and micro-chipped and will be tested for heart worms also upon his adoption. Draco is a nice size at 43 pounds and he is just 1.5 years old.
