Cobb County has reduced adoption fees for August to $10 for all adult dogs and cats and $25 for puppies and kittens.

Sugar is a female Hound mix who is available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter in Marietta, GA.

Sugar has a name that fits her just perfectly because she is as sweet as sugar. She has been taught to sit, stay and lay down. Sugar walks gently on a leash and will be a great friend on walks. Sugar is current on vaccines, now spayed and will be tested for heart worms and micro-chipped when adopted. She is 3 years old and weighs 59 pounds. Louie is a young male Labrador Retriever mix puppy who is available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter in Marietta, GA.

Louie is about 9 months old and 44 pounds. His family left him at the shelter because they could no longer care for him. He has been taught to sit and lay down. He is playful, loves toys and will work for treats so he will be a good student. Louie will be neutered, chipped and heartworm tested upon adoption. You will find him in run #20. ID # 607566

Reba is a female Labrador Retriever mix who is available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter in Marietta, GA.

Reba is a delightful girl! She is very sweet, well behaved, and calm. Reba is 4 years old and weighs 60 pounds. Her fur shimmers gold in the sunlight. Really, gold! If you are looking for a mature girl and don’t want to deal with puppy antics, then Reba is the girl for you. She is reported to be good with kids. 

Reba thought she had her forever home when she was adopted in 2015 but she is once again looking for her forever home. Reba was left at the shelter on July 27th, through no fault of her own. She is up to date with shots, spayed, and micro-chipped. Reba is in Run 806 and her ID is 606937. Sadly she has tested positive for heartworms, but with treatment she should be good as new in no time. Please speak to your veterinarian regarding treatment options.
