Emory is five months old. He has a beautiful rich brown and white coat. His eyes look like they’re laughing and his tail is always wagging. Emory is already working with several uber volunteers and trainers. Emory loves people and has a very friendly personality. It seems that Emory is all puppy.
Piper is a beautiful purebred German shepherd. She’s a senior girl at 10 years old. She is blind. Piper gets around very well though and relies on voices or presence to know where her person is or doggie friend is. Piper was in danger of being euthanized. In our opinion no dog deserves to die just because she’s old and blind. That’s when they need us the most! Her personality is terrific. She’s easy-going, just a love of a dog. She’s in good health, but does need daily enzyme powder on her food to ensure that she’s able to process it, but it’s easy to manage.
I spent several years leading around a blind senior Shepherd mix and it was one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done.
