Actor Owen Wilson met a shelter dog from Fulton County Animal Services who was out on a “Dog for the Day” escursion, according to the AJC.
Adoptee Mario was out on a “Dog For The Day” walk when he and his “date” ran into Wilson, according to a Facebook post from Fulton County Animal Services.
“You never know what might happen on Dog For The Day, like running into a celebrity…like this guy. Owen got to meet Fulton County Animal Services star MARIO! Okay, okay just kidding. Mario was out on a date for the day and he ran into actor and artist Owen Wilson,” the post reads.

King is older gentleman, who is labby and independent. At the shelter, he presents as aloof, so people look right over him. When comfortable in his home, he loves every toy and treats. His favorite game is a playful “chase” with his family. The way to King’s heart is food!! You know who his favorite people in the shelter, because they are usually the staff here with the best treats. He loves butt scratches and hanging out with his people.
If you are looking for the perfect sidekick, then meet King. This young fella can’t wait to wake you up in the morning with his happy smile and take on the day with you. King already know some basic commands and loves his treats! He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play in the sun, but if you need to chill with a movie then King is ready to cuddle up and watch with you.
Mishka is a one-year old, 57-pound female Coonhound mix who is available for adoption from Lifeline Animal Project in Atlanta, GA.
She reminds me of Dolly, my hound dog.
Tango would love to dance right out of the shelter, but he needs a partner! Tango could learn some dance moves pretty quickly since he already knows some basic commands: “sit”, “stay”, “down”, and “heel”. He’s even housetrained, crate trained, and great on leash! Tango loves people, including kids. He is also dog-friendly!
