Troy is an adult male Labrador Retriever mix who is available for adoption from McIntosh County Animal Services in Darien, GA.

Troy came to MCAS an abandoned stray with an embedded collar, he is now all healed up and ready to find a loving home. Troy is a two year old lab/staffy mix who is on the smaller side. Troy is good with kids, and other dogs. Troy loves to hug you and hold on, he is such a scaredy cat. Troy is one of the sweetest and most chilled dogs you will ever meet.

Benny is an adult male Labrador Retriever mix who is available for adoption from McIntosh County Animal Services in Darien, GA.

Benny was picked up a stray and he was emaciated and covered in parasites. We later discovered Bennys owners and Benny’s real name “Buck” unfortunately even with several folks knowing Benny is with us nobody has come forward. Benny is good with kids, and other dogs (we always recommend a meet and greet if you have other dogs) He knows sit for treats and is learning to stay, walks on leash,and is well mannered. He doesnt chew up any toys, or his bed (HE LOVES HIS FLUFFY DOG BED, it will go with him to his new home)

Benny is a precious soul who was handed a crappy hand, if you’re in the market for a nice family pet then Benny is the dog for you. Benny is a lab mix who is estimated to be around four years old.

Stoney is a senior male Black Labrador Retriever & American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is available for adoption from McIntosh County Animal Services in Darien, GA.

Stoney is a senior black lab/staffy mix he is around 10-12 years old and just a sweet boy. Stoney is deaf, he knows sit and walks good on leash. He will come to hand gestures and doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. It’s a crying shame his owners abandoned him in his final years as we’re sure he has been a very loyal dog.

Stoney will need a new home, the shelter is no place for this sweet pet. Stoney has an advantage, he cant hear all the noise and barking dogs so that’s good. Stoney will do best in a home with or without kids, we don’t know how he is with cats as it’s very hard to test that here. Stoney has played well with other dogs, but we always recommend a meet and greet. Stoney does need a fenced yard.

Gina is an adult female American Bully mix who is available for adoption from McIntosh County Animal Services in Darien, GA.

Gina was caught in a trap, because she was terrified to come to us. We realized quickly that she was someone’s pet, she has a spay scar and knows sit. She is just a potato on legs, what some may call an “exotic bully” we just call them another loss soul nobody wants. Unfortunately nobody has come to claim Gina, so now we have to find her a new home.

Gina melts into you, all she wants is love. She is the height of an English bulldog but THICK with short little legs. Gina is super sweet, very well mannered. We always recommend a meet and greet with other dogs. She has taken treats for kids, but again we always recommend a meet before adopting.
