Adoptable Georgia Dogs for May 30, 2014

The three dogs we posted yesterday, Mallie, Apple, and Belushi, were all rescued yesterday because their Rescue funds were filled, allowing groups that could not fund their initial vetting to save them. Thank you.

So we’ll follow up that success with three more dogs who need donations to be saved today at Clayton County Animal Shelter, and we’ll probably make this a regular feature for our readers who want to help but cannot adopt a dog themselves.

The volunteers at Clayton County put a lot of work into matching dogs with rescues and coordinating donations via fundrazr. Their group also accepts donations for their General Fund to be used to help dogs who don’t have sufficient funds or for supplies, expenses, and other needs. You can mail them at check if you prefer to:

They are one of the greatest success stories, dramatically reducing the number of dogs euthanized at Clayton County at no expense to taxpayers.

Snow White and her six dwarfs – an Australian cattle dog who gave birth to six healthy puppies soon after she landed in Clayton County Animal Shelter has a rescue group interested but needs money for their vetting. It will cost $1000 to vet seven dogs, but you can click here to donate – whether it’s $100, $20, $5, or even $2, every little bit will help save the lives of this little family.

Billet‘s mom was hospitalized and he wound up in Clayton Animal Control. Click here to donate to help save Billet.

Ladybird has a rescue waiting for her, she just needs to raise $350 and she already has about a third of it in her account. Click here to donate to save Ladybird’s life.

Wendy here looks like about a medium-sized dog, but she’s actually a Dachshund mix – a rescue is ready to pull her today. Click here to donate to help save Wendy today.
