Adoptable Georgia Dogs for October 16, 2013

Scooby was a loved pet with a home before his owner gave him up because they couldn’t afford him and his best friend, Lucy, below. He is about six years old and 75 pounds, and looks to me like a giant Jack Russell Terrier. He is available for adoption from the Walton County Animal Shelter. Scooby is neutered and vetted.

Lucy is Scooby’s little low-rider friend, about 6 years old and 40 pounds, spayed female who is vetted.

This little guy is a two month old puppy, listed as a Pit Bull mix, but I think that only means he has a slightly wide snout. Puppies are listed as urgent at Gwinnett County Animal Shelter, which usually means they’ll be euthanized if they aren’t adopted soon enough.

This little Aussie mix puppy is listed as “Rescue Only,” due to a skin condition at Gwinnett County Animal Shelter. Skin conditions are often curable with some veterinary care and more importantly, a loving foster or adoptive home.
