The number of animals coming into DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS) and Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) has increased drastically due to the large number of animals born during Spring. To encourage the public to adopt, LifeLine Animal Project is extending their “Spring into Adoption” promotion for another month. Throughout May, any pet weighing 25 lbs. or more may be adopted for FREE at DCAS, FCAS or the LifeLine Animal Project Shelter! Adoption counselors will be on hand to ensure the animals are being placed in good homes.
LifeLine Animal Project CEO Rebecca Guinn is optimistic that the community will support this promotion. “With up to 30 animals entering the shelter daily, we urgently need public support to help us save lives,” says Rebecca. “By providing fee-waived adoptions on pets 25 lbs. and over, we hope to see a record number of people coming into the shelter and giving our wonderful animals a new life.”
All April, adopters will receive a pet that has been spayed or neutered, has had all vaccines and is microchipped – a $200 value – for FREE!
