Brina is a female Chocolate Lab mix who weighs 55 pounds and is available for adoption from Southern Comfort Animal Rescue in Glenwood, GA.
She is very active and playful, maybe a bit too much to be around really small children and she is learning to be calmer. Mr. Scott says she will be a great dog with just a little more attention and training.
She loves people very much and even gets along with other dogs; she prefers the bigger dogs more than those little ones. She has spent some time living indoors when I first came to SoCo Rescue, I currently live outdoors. I love playing in water and she has a little pool in her kennel.
If you think Brina would make a good match, please email Scott at socorescue@yahoo.com.
Sparky is a large female American Bulldog who is available for rescue from Southern Comfort Animal Rescue.
Sparky is a very well mannered girl who still has a lot of life left in her. While in her kennel, Sparky will rest quietly inside her dog house, not being one to bark excessively. When she’s taken out for walks, she seems to come alive, enjoying her time spent with humans. She also LOVES to go on car rides, sitting calmly on her side of the seat and being very observant of where she is going.
Sparky was attacked by another dog in the past and will become defensive around other dogs. Because of this, we’d suggest that she be an only dog or kept contained away from other dogs. We don’t think she’ll do well around cats.
Sparky is a very loving and devoted dog. She is very trustworthy around kids of all ages as she recently was in a foster home with young children.
If you’re looking for a mature dog that has outgrown the hyper activity of a young dog, then Sparky could be just the pet you’ve been looking for. To obtain more information, please email Scott at socorescue@yahoo.com or call 912-423-0145.
Marli is a 6-year old 30# female who is thought to be an Affenpinscher mix; she is available for adoption from Southern Comfort Animal Rescue.
Marli is a very friendly girl, getting along great with other dogs and people alike. She is leash trained and loves to go on walks. Marli is also house and crate trained and does very well living as an inside dog. Marli always seems to have a smile on her face
Marli has been spayed, had all of her vaccines renewed and even tested negative for heart worms. Other than her teeth being worn down, she is a very healthy dog. Marli has also been micro-chipped.
Marli would make a great companion for almost any family. She is currently living with a family that has children and does very well with them. While she is still very active, she is not a hyper dog.
To inquire about adopting Marli, please email Scott at socorescue@yahoo.com.
