Adoptable Georgia Dogs for March 12, 2013

Murray Hound PuppyThis is a little hound dog puppy who came into the Murray County Shelter emaciated. At 11 weeks, she’s still skinny but getting healthier, only to wind up on the list of dogs likely to be euthanized on Thursday. If you are interested in adopting or fostering any of these dogs, transportation is available to Atlanta or elsewhere in Georgia, possibly beyond.
Murray Hound Dog BoyThis purebred Bluetick Coonhound would make a great hunting buddy, running partner, or couch potato, though in that last role, he’ll still be a better canine housemate if he receives plenty of exercise. He’s about a year-and-a-half old, quiet and friendly. Coonhounds make great pets.
Murray County AussieThis 1-1/2 year old Aussie mix has a healed head wound and does well with people and other dogs.Murray County ChiThis little guy is between 1 and 2 years old and weighs a whopping 18 pounds. A chihuahua mix, he’s said to be fun and friendly and he gets along with everyone.

To adopt or foster any of these dogs or others from the Murray County Animal Shelter in Chatsworth, Georgia, contact Lisa Hester at 770-441-0329 or email her at murrayshelter2@bellsouth.net or Megan via text or phone call to 706-260-5251 or email Megan at mcpuppypower@yahoo.com during the day on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.
