Today is National Dog Day, and Lifeline Animal Services is celebrating by offering free adoptions of any dogs in the DeKalb or Fulton County shelters.
Georgia is a smiley 4 year old Labrador mix that would love to be your new best friend! She loves all people and greets everyone she meets with happiness and wiggles. If you see weekend hikes in your future, Georgia may be the girl for you! IT seems like she would be able to keep up with the most active of families. Georgia gets along great with other dogs would probably do well with a canine companion in her forever home.
Bunny ears and a goofy grin? That’s Wilbur! This friendly guy is happiest by your side. He gets along great with other dogs and would probably enjoy having a canine companion to hang out with in his forever home. Wilbur has enough energy to keep up with any family, but he is not the type to bounce off the walls. He will happily join you for your daily walks or runs! Come meet Wilbur, he’d make an awesome family pet!

Blondes DO have more fun! Layne the 5 year old Golden Retriever / Spaniel mix is as happy as they come. Even though she has a touch of grey on her nose, that doesn’t stop this playful and totally sweet girl from prancing around happily. Layne gets along great with other dogs and probably wouldn’t mind having a canine companion in her forever home. Come meet her today!
