Adoptable Georgia Dogs for April 28, 2014

ChihuahuaFamily Gordon County

This family of three little female Chihuahuas is in need of an adoptive or foster home and are available for adoption from the Gordon County Animal Shelter in Calhoun, Ga.

Shugar is a tiny female Chihuahua who is sweet and loving and enjoys playing fetch, even though a tennis ball is almost as big as her head. Shugar is available for adoption from Echota Pet Rescue in Calhoun, Ga.

Gunner is a drop dead gorgeous pure bred, registered male lab. He is a phenomenal dog – super smart, affectionate and eager to please. Gunner was raised with a 4 year old girl and two small dogs and has always proven to be gentle and respectful around them.

Gunner always gives a bark to let you know when someone pulls up to the house, but he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Instead, he loves to pal around with people – grown or young, doesn’t matter to him. Romping in a big back yard is his idea of a fun afternoon, especially if you are willing to throw a ball for him! He is an awesome swimmer (and LOVES to swim) and enjoys hopping in the truck for a ride.

Gunner is so eager to please that he easily and quickly learned a number of obedience skills – sit, down, stay, leave it and easy. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is micro-chipped. Gunner is available for adoption from Animal Rescue League of Northwest Georgia in Calhoun, GA

Bonus points today for Congressman Phil Gingrey’s campaign for bringing this to our attention via twitter:
