These six little puppies (2 female, 4 male) were dropped off at Walton County Animal Shelter yesterday and need foster or adoptive homes. They’re about two months old, and weigh about 8 pounds each. If you’re interested in helping one of more of them, contact:

Brutus is a 12-year old Golden Retriever who ended up homeless when his parents got divorced. His mom moved out and when she went back a few weeks or months later to get the rest of her things, she found Brutus and the other dogs tied up in the backyard, all looking malnourished. She wasn’t in a position to take them so she called animal control and surrendered them right away. Brutus is available for adoption from Retired Retrievers in Savannah, Ga.
After Max, a senior Lab mix, was homeless, he got adopted, but his new dad died and Max needs help again. Max is a mellow 55-pound lab mix. He is a young senior (8-10 years old) who loves to go for long walks and play fetch, but when he’s at home he enjoys just lounging around. He is good with other dogs. His current rescue group hasn’t seen him around kids or cats, but will test him for that. He’s such a laid back guy that we can’t imagine him causing any trouble for anyone.
