David Perdue Statement On Veterans Day
In observation of Veterans Day, Senator-elect David Perdue released the following statement:
“Today, we pause to thank our nation’s veterans and current service members for their sacrifice. Our veterans have risked their lives, and in many cases given their lives, in order for our nation to be free. These servicemen and women, and their families, deserve our eternal gratitude and our prayers.
“Given the growing threats we face around the world, let us rededicate ourselves to protecting our national security and delivering on the promises made to our nation’s heroes. In the U.S. Senate, I will work tirelessly to ensure that we can provide Georgia’s veterans and their families with the support and care they need and deserve.”
