Adoptable Georgia Dogs for June 20, 2014

Because of an impending overcrowding at Cherokee County Animal Shelter, these three dogs are each offered free for adoption.

Cinnamon has been ADOPTED!

Cinnamon is a Coonhound mix, who looks like part Redbone. She is available for free adoption from the Cherokee County Animal Shelter. This is her story:

I was brought into the shelter by my owners on June 10th. They were no longer able to care for me.
I’m a very good girl who loves to be outside smelling the flowers & going for walks. I would be a great partner for just about anything!

This is Sugar, described as a Pit Bull mix, on the medium size, whom I would personally hesitate to classify as a Pit. Sugar’s story:

Hi my name is Sugar!
I was brought into the shelter by my owners on June 13th.
They could no longer take care of me.

Radar is a tri-color Coonhound, commonly called a Treeing Walker Coonhound, a young pup, who needs an adoptive or foster home to get out of the Cherokee County Animal Shelter, which will very soon be overcrowded.

I was brought in by my owners on June 9th.
I’m a very sweet & loving hound puppy who loves his people.
My favorite thing is to lay on my bed & take naps.

I’ve got a Coonhound mix, and I can testify that these dogs take epic naps. Dolly, our hound, probably spends 22 hours a day sleeping on the couch, but when she goes out or to the dog park, she loves to play and run around. Perfect breed for an active family, but not wanting to run around 24/7.
