Canton T.E.A. Warned Moore was a “Chameleon” and Deceived the Voters of Dist 22

Cherokee County — Today, the Canton T.E.A. Party condemns the action of Sam Moore, newly elected Representative from District 22, in his bill that defies common sense and puts the children of Georgia at risk of pedophiles and sex offenders.

Moore sought the nomination of the Canton T.E.A. Party for “TP Favorite” status. Following a thorough vetting process with Moore, Carolyn Cosby, the group’s leader stated, “It was the opinion of the Executive Committee that Moore had a good grasp of the constitution but lacked the sound, moral judgement necessary to apply it. Moore’s views, to include supporting abortion-on-demand and special “gay-rights”, best represented the Libertarian Party of which he is a member and the group that backed his campaign.”

“Youthful zeal is impressive, but, Cosby continued, ambition without a firm moral foundation disqualifies a candidate and results in the decision Moore made to file this highly risky bill in the first place.”

The Canton T.E.A. Party warned the public via the local press that Moore was “opportunistic” and called Moore a “chameleon” in a DEC 26th press release. Cosby said Moore regularly switched his positions on life, special “gay-rights” and Obamacare and deceived the voters of his district”. Cosby continued, “Above all else, we look for someone with a good character. After all, it is a strong indicator of what one can expect.” The press release was not reported locally.

The Canton T.E.A. Party qualifies its candidates based on four categories: Character, Courage, Core Principles and Leadership and has adopted the principled platform of the Republican Party.

The Tea Party will be seeking a candidate for District 22 with solid, classical conservative credentials.
