More trouble looms in the wake of Tuesday’s winter storm in greater Atlanta and beyond: A shortage of gasoline at retail pumps. Already many gasoline outlets are dry after a rush on fuel Tuesday afternoon, and gridlocked roads are preventing tanker trucks from replenishing them.

Worse, the demand is likely to pick up in a big way over the next two or three days, as motorists reclaim their cars on the sides of roads and try again to drive them home.
