Mercer hosts free lecture on church/state separation

Mercer University will celebrate Constitution Day on Monday with a free lecture on the separation of church and state by Dr. Vincent Munoz, an associate professor of religion and public life at the University of Notre Dame.

Munoz will present his lecture, titled, “Did the Founders Intend to Separate Church from State?” from 6 to 7:15 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, in the Medical School auditorium. The lecture is sponsored by the Pennsylvania-based Jack Miller Center for Teaching America’s Principles and History.
