Dalai Lama to visit Atlanta area in October | Online Athens

DULUTH, Ga. (AP) — Officials at Emory University say the Dalai Lama is expected to make a visit to the Atlanta area next month.

School officials said Wednesday that the Dalai Lama is scheduled to participate in two public discussions Oct. 8 with Emory Faculty about responsible citizenship, ethics and education. The discussions are being hosted at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth.
