Four terrier puppies, about 2 months old. Above in pen 36 are one male, one female, who will be available for adoption tomorrow from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter.
All four are from the same litter, and are small, friendly, and playful. In Gwinnett County, when the puppy and small dog cages get filled, little ones like these get euthanized.
“Yo quiero new home,” says this little guy, a chihuahua mix about five years old. He’s in pen 216 and will be available for adoption on May 16, 2013, from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter. Little man is very friendly and fits in a medium-size purse or backpack.

And finally, we have a five-year old female Golden Retriever, a fine specimen of the greatest breed of dog ever. If you want to adopt a Golden Retriever, be there early Thursday morning when the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter opens up. She may very well end up with one of the Golden Retriever rescues, and we strongly endorse Adopt A Golden Atlanta, the finest rescue organization anywhere if you’re looking to adopt through a group.
