RN-T.com – Ribbon cutting of local medical college clinic set for Tuesday

Ribbon cutting for the newest clinical campus of the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University in Rome will be Tuesday at noon.

The Northwest Clinical Campus is located in the James D. Maddox Heritage Hall, Georgia Highlands College, 415 E. Third Ave.

Georgia Regents University President Dr. Ricardo Azziz, Medical College of Georgia Dean Peter Buckley and Dr. Leonard Reeves, assistant dean of the local campus, will be among the speakers.

The first seven medical students have already begun their studies in Rome. The students are studying and living in Rome while completing their third and fourth years of medical school. Dubbed the Magnificent Seven by Reeves, all seven are expected to be on hand for the ceremony.
