Nunn Blows off Georgia Voters to Attend Swanky Fundraiser

Michelle Nunn has become somewhat infamous for refusing to release any type of a public schedule and rarely holds any public events, so it’s rare that Georgia voters actually know what she’s up to. But from recent press reports, it looks like most of her time is spent ignoring the people of Georgia while collecting oodles of cash from liberal Super PACs and DC insiders.

And that is exactly what she’s doing tonight (20 March).

Earlier this week, Georgia media outlets reported she will be attending a swanky fundraiser hosted by Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed this evening. And just how fancy of an event are we talking about here? So fancy, that there is a $500-a-plate children’s table. That must be some pretty chi chi macaroni and cheese.

At the same time she’s hob nobbing with some of Georgia’s wealthiest Democrats, the Georgia Gwinnett College Democrats will be hosting a Senate debate. All of the candidates, including Nunn, were encouraged to attend. Both State Senator Steen Miles and Dr. Branko Radulovacki, aka Dr. Rad, are attending. But Nunn opted to shun the Georgia Gwinnett College Democrats – and really all Georgia voters – by declining the debate invitation and is instead shilling for cash with Reed. So once again, Michelle Nunn is ducking Georgia voters – unless they have a healthy bank account, that is.

People shouldn’t be too surprised about this. Tonight’s debate is just the most recent public forum she has refused to show up for. She’s also been dodging the hard questions from reporters on important topics like ObamaCare, 2^nd Amendment rights, America’s energy strategy, and the importance of updating our tax code. In fact, when the Marietta Daily Journal pressed her to share her stance on the rights of gun owners, she gave such a nonsensical response most readers left more confused than ever.

That’s because Michelle Nunn is a true blue liberal Democrat doing everything she can to trick Georgia voters when the truth is that she’d be a rubber stamp for the Obama agenda in Washington.
