Meet Trix whose special trick is making volunteers fall in love with him. He’s so handsome with his big ears and great smile and reminds us a bit of Scooby doo. He’s under 2 years old, 59 lbs and walks nicely on leash. When he went to doggy play group, all he wanted to do was snuggle with people. Trix had a home once but the resident dog didn’t like him so Trix was surrendered. His owner said he was a great dog, “happy as heck” and a big baby who deserves love. He’s house trained, absolutely adores strangers and is friendly and affectionate. Trix has so much to offer and is ready to perform one last trick-disappearing from the shelter into a loving home-yours!
Rowann is the kind of girl who gazes up at you with love in her eyes. She’s gentle with a calm demeanor and greets everyone with a sweet hello. If you let her, she’ll curl up in your lap and give you kisses- the perfect companion and cuddle bug while you’re lounging on the couch. Rowann is 4 years old and a great size-only 38 lbs. Volvo (right) is a 5.5 year old, 67-pound male mixed breed dog (Weimaraner?) who is available for adoption from LifeLine Animal Project’s Fulton County Animal Services in Atlanta, GA.
Volvo is a handsome boy with taupe colored fur and eyes to match. He loves treats, will sit for them and takes them gently. He may be housetrained. We know he loves toys and is a very good guy who’s built for comfort, not speed. Volvo is big and strong but seems low to medium energy. A volunteer said, “He was well behaved, interactive and looked for affection as we sat on the grass, being gentle the entire time. Walked well on the leash, overall very good.” You’ll like him. We do.

Meet Patriot, a big sweetheart with an even bigger heart. This gentle guy walks politely on leash and enjoys taking his time, soaking in the sights and sounds of the world around him. On walks, he’ll often glance up to check in, happy just knowing you’re there.
In the play yard, Patriot likes to stay close by your side. He’s treat-motivated and loves earning snacks for his good manners. He’s easy to handle and has a calm, well-behaved way about him that makes spending time together feel relaxed and easy.
Around other dogs, Patriot keeps to himself and is comfortable doing his own thing. He seems most content exploring at his pace and then settling in for pets and praise.
