Meet Hazel! Most of her siblings have already been adopted except her and her sister Haggie. Unfortunately she was recently returned to our rescue because she wasn’t comfortable around the families young children. Young ones quick movements and loud gestures make her nervous so she needs a home without children. Older children 16+ would be fine. Although she is shy, she loves to play with other dogs and that’s when her tail wags the most! We would like to see her in a home with another dog as we don’t think she would do well being the only dog. A confident sibling would bring out the best in her! She loves to play in her fosters fenced in yard. Hazel is house and crate trained.
Winnie is one of the 4 puppies we recently rescued from the Dominican Republic. They are all around 5 months old. Winnie is a female mix that weighs approx 25 lbs and will most likely be around 45-50 fully grown. Winnie is a very sweet and shy girl. She takes a little to warm up and has made a long journey to the US so you can’t blame her! She has been able to play with a lot of dogs in her foster home and does well with them. We think she would do best in a home with another dog for companionship and confidence! She would be fine around children but younger toddlers may be too much for her. We can cat test her as well for interested adopters.
Forest is a 9 month old black mouth cur/ Carolina dog (our best guess) that we just sprung from the shelter. He was on his last day facing euthanasia and no puppy deserves that. This boy currently weighs 55 lbs and will gain a little bit more before he’s fully grown. Forest is a total love bug! He loves everyone he meets and is super dog friendly. He could also care less about cats and just ignores him. He also loves toys and stuffies! Forest walks well on leash and would make a great companion for an active person and/or family. He is also house and crate trained.
