This is the second oldest man on the compound. He’s 10 years old and the absolute sweetest. Chase came in with another dog, totally his opposite and 10 years old as well. They had to come to us due to a very unfortunate medical situation with their human dad. Sometimes we get animals that have a tough time with this huge life change and it was definitely difficult for the first little while. He has a few choice toys that for absolutely no reason does he leave his kennel without. He lives inside in a “condo” and is taken out first thing in the morning and all throughout the day whenever he tells us he needs to go outside. Chase would do well in a calm and quiet environment with all the cuddles, pets, plush and squeaky toys.
Just under a week ago, our sweet Vita underwent emergency surgery after being bred to a dog far too large for her. Tragically, none of her puppies survived, but true to the meaning of her name, Vita has proven to be a true life force. She has amazed us with her resilience. Every day she grows stronger, happier, and it’s clear she’s feeling like a brand-new girl. Her incision is healing beautifully, and she is well on her way to being ready for a family who will love and cherish her the way every dog deserves.

Meet Molly! Molly is a momma to 3 other puppies we currently have up for adoption. This poor girl and her babies were found dumped in the woods in a neighborhood. Dumped with absolutely nothing and left to fend for themselves. The world is so cruel! It was truly a miracle they were found and a temporary foster stepped up at the last minute.
Molly is estimated at 4 years old and we believe she is a brindle Plott Hound mix. She just went to the vet last week and weighed in at 54 lbs. She is back to a healthy weight post nursing her babies and all ready to find her forever home.

Meet Bunnie! Bunnie and her brother Jelly Roll were found as roaming strays on a street commonly known for dumping dogs. Unfortunately owners were never found. We believe they are retriever mixes! Bunnie is approx 10-11 months old.
Bunnie is dog friendly and gets along with all of the dogs in her foster home. We do not adopt siblings together but she would love a home with another dog. She also needs a fenced in yard and prefers to be outside the majority of time, of course while coming in throughout the day and sleeping inside at night but she is a big lover of the outdoors!
