Bruno is a mixed breed terrier mix and approximately 4 1/2 months old. We believe he will be on the small side once grown. Bruno was thrown from a vehicle on the side of the highway and someone witnessed it. He is a sweet boy who loves to play. Bruno must have at least one other young dog (a female) to play with. Without siblings to play with he can be quite mouthy. Since he was developing that habit we introduced him to a litter of older pups who could play with him and the mouthiness has improved. We would not recommend placing him with young children because he has not completely overcome this habit and we would not want his puppy teeth to hurt a small child. He just doesn’t completely understand yet but he is improving and will continue to do so if his family continues to work with him and exchange fingers for toys when he exhibits this behavior.
Oreo (actual name) is an 8 year old Schnauzer mix who was owner surrendered at a kill shelter. She is mellow and sweet but also easily overwhelmed with chaos. Her ideal home would be with someone who has a quiet household and is home during the day. If the house is chaotic and loud, she will find a quiet bedroom and go to sleep on the bed. Oreo loves to wander around outside in the yard, A quick bark or two alerts you when she is ready to come back inside. Oreo is spayed, heartworm negative, current on vaccines and microchipped. A fenced yard is necessary to adopt Oreo. (No underground fences.)
