Cooper is a loveable Yellow Labrador/Shepherd mix that would love to be your good time pal. He is a happy-go-lucky energetic dog with an outgoing friendly personality. Cooper would do best with an active adult or family who can give him a lot of attention and exercise. He loves everyone and is especially fond of children but may be too much for little tikes. Cooper is great with other large dogs that enjoy a rough and tumble playstyle. Unfortunately, kitties are not a good fit. A home with a large backyard with a tall fence would be ideal. Cooper doesn’t dig but he can jump like an NBA ballplayer. He would enjoy learning to play Frisbee and would be an awesome dock diving competitor. He is highly intelligent and responds well to praise; especially if you throw him a treat! Cooper enjoys going on a daily walk and is a calm car-rider too. If you like to go hiking, Cooper will happily tag along. He is a well-behaved housemate and already housebroken though he did recently spend a good time outdoors.
The only momma she has ever known was diagnosed with cancer and can no longer care for her. Sadie is a sweet and friendly girl that would do best in a home with an adult or family with older children. She forms a close bond with her owner and seldom will be far from your side. She is a healthy medium size dog and weighs 33 pounds. Sadie still has a lot of zip for a dog of her age and still enjoys going on walks and loves car rides. Sadie is completely housebroken and barks when she needs to go out. She loves sun bathing outside and would enjoy having her own fenced in backyard. Sadie gets along well with male dogs of all ages. If you currently have a dog, we can arrange a playdate to see if they are compatible. Sadie is a truly a treasure and will be a wonderful companion. Let’s turn her heartbreak into joy! Do you have room in your heart and home for this very special sweet dog?
Maxi, Misha and Nubs were found in a burned out abandoned home without food or water. They were very happy to be rescued and have settled in well at our shelter. These three friendly female pups appear to be approximately six months old. We believe they are Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback mixes. They currently weigh less than thirty pounds, but will be large dogs when they are done growing. Maxi, Misha and Nubs are three sweet goofy playful pups that will make fabulous family pets. These three are a good fit for an adult or family with children over five that have the time to raise a puppy.
