Roxanne was rescued from a NE GA shelter. She is approximately 1-1/2 – 2 years old. She was surrendered because she kept chasing the neighbors chickens and running away. Her former family did not have a fenced-in yard, which is a requirement for Roxanne. She is ridiculously mischievous and fun-loving! She has an overabundance of energy so is not suitable for apartment living. She will chase a cat, so a home with no cats is required, however, she LOVES other dogs, especially males and non-alpha female dogs.
Roxanne is very affectionate with humans, but doesn’t enjoy being picked up and cuddled much – she’s more into playing non-stop and then collapsing in your arms to rest up for the next round of boisterous play! Roxanne is definitely crate-trained, and if you have a doggy-door, then she’s housetrained too. She knows how to sit on command and will come when called (most of the time, especially if a treat is involved!)
Cody is a 1 year old scruffy terrier mix, weighing 11 lbs. We got Cody from a local metro Atlanta animal coTroll. Cody had been living on the streets, fending for himself. For this reason, Cody is food aggressive and will need to be fed by himself in a crate. He is trained to go into a crate and sit and wait on his food. Cody does NOT like large dogs, so we recommend Cody have a private, fenced back yard area to exercise. Fenced yard will be verified. This dog IS NOT (yet) HOUSETRAINED. Cody needs some one who has time for him and would be beneficial to get basic obedience training.
Dancer is a happy-go-lucky Beagle/Dachshund mix. He is approximately 3 years old, but is very puppy-like. This little guy can leap straight up to grab a treat chest-high! He needs a fenced yard for sure. Dancer weighs about 21 lbs. and is solid muscle. He loves to play with everyone and enjoys the company of dogs. He does not share his food or bones with other dogs, so he must be crated while he is eating or fed separately. Dancer is cuddly and affectionate.
