Adoptable Georgia Dogs for June 4, 2014

39480_640x480
39480 is a female coonhound who was found stray and is available for adoption from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter.
She is friendly and beautiful. The GaPundit home office includes a coonhound adopted from the Gwinnett County Shelter and she’s an awesome dog. Very mellow and affectionate, loves other dogs and people. This is a great breed for active families, and they thrive if they get 30-60 minutes of outdoor activity every day. Perfect for the dog park, and the temperament of our dog is textbook coonhound.
39166
39166 is a female Shepherd mix with striking white-blue eyes. She is available for adoption today at the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter.
39231
39231 is a female, labeled a Shepherd mix, but I’m dubious of that. Looks more like a hound mix to me. She is available for adoption from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter.

The Gwinnett County Animal Shelter is participating in the Rachael Ray $100k Challenge this month.

The $100K challenge is a contest in which 50 shelters across the country compete to break their own records saving the lives of animals. Throughout the months of June, July, and August 2014, each competing shelter must save more dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens than they did during the same three months in 2013. We look forward to all the animals that will benefit from this awesome challenge. Many, many more details to come so keep an eye out.
