Bonnie is a beautiful 8 year old female Golden Retriever who was left at an apartment complex after her owners moved away and left her behind. She is now very loved in her foster home and we are searching for a new forever family that will love her forever.
Bonnie is a very good girl. She is housebroken and she gets along well with other animals (both cats and dogs). Bonnie also knows basic commands (sit and go lay down) and walks pretty well on a leash. She is an inside dog and is left home alone unattended loose in the house with no issues. She’s a very sweet girl, who loves to just be next to you. She is playful and likes to play with toys and other dogs and even with the cats in her foster home. She has a very wonderful temperament. She is not fostered in a home with children but we believe she would do wonderful with kids. She loves everyone and is very easy going.
When adopted, her new family will inherit Bonnie’s toys, blanket, bowls, collar and leash. Bonnie is available for adoption from Companion Animal Aid in Pooler, Ga.
Hello – my name is Cocoa. My foster family and vet don’t really know what I am mixed with but the best guess they can come up with is a possible shepherd mix female. I am almost 2 years old and only weigh 45lbs. I will not get any bigger! I am utd on shots, house broken, crate trained, mirco-chipped, spayed, heartworm negative and currently on monthly flea and heartworm prevention! I am just a bundle of joy and fun!!! My most favorite things to do are playing fetch and getting my belly rubbed! I also like to go for walks and I am currently learning how not to pull on my leash.
I am fostered with other dogs and 2 inside cats. I will need a family who has a privacy fenced in yard as I do not like to use the bathroom on a leash. I also will require a family who has older children – I like kids but babies and toddlers kind of scare me and I am not really sure what to think about them or how to react around them. I would love to find a family where I could have another little dog or a very young dog as a playmate because I do love to romp and play. Or I would also enjoy being an only dog where I can get all of the love and attention. I am very calm and sweet inside but like to get out in the backyard and romp with my foster brothers and sisters. Cocoa is available for adoption from Companion Animal Aid in Pooler, Ga.
Marley is a sweet male greyhound mix, approximately a year and a half old, housetrained, crate trained, UTD on vaccinations, hw negative and neutered. He has a quiet disposition and plays wonderfully with both dogs and cats. Marley had a rough start to his life, which has left him a bit shy around men but with a little bit of time he warms right up.
When he was little, a very mean person wasn’t nice to Marley and managed to break his back – he has surgery to fix the problem and the vet doesn’t foresee him having any more problems because of the previous injury.
