Jody is a sweet, senior female pug who loves being close to her people and snuggling with them or her foster siblings. She is gentle and house- and crate-trained. She is blind, but that’s okay. We have a blind senior dog and it’s not as much of an issue for her as we thought it would be; Roxy gets along fine, we just need to pay a little more attention when we walk her to make sure we don’t let her walk into a signpost, mailbox, or utility pole.
Jody is currently fostered in South Carolina, but available for adoption through Southeast Pug Rescue and Adoption Inc. Suwanee, GA.
Donna is a sweet Pit Bull mix who was used as a bait dog, so she first came in chewed up and with her front legs taped together and heartworm positive. She has received veterinary care and is doing much better. Donna is available for adoption from Ginny Millner Rescue Group in Atlanta, Ga.
The Atlanta Underdog Initiative promotes Pit Bull education, rescue, and responsible ownership. If you think a Pibble might be the right dog for you, learn about the breed so you can make the right choice for your family and for the dog, but don’t let misinformation continue to lead so many of these dogs to death in shelters.
