Barbara Dooley Endorses Donna Sheldon For Congress
Political activist and conservative leader Barbara Dooley today announced her endorsement of Donna Sheldon for U.S. Congress.
“Donna was a leader in the State House and was known as a woman who could get things done, bring people with different opinions to the table, but never compromise her conservative principles,” Dooley said. “She is exactly what we need in Washington and I am proud to give her my total support.”
“I couldn’t be more honored to have Barbara’s backing,” Donna said. “She is a leading conservative voice in our state and has served in so many roles and given voice to so many worthy causes and groups that they are beyond count. I am proud to call her a friend and to have access to her advice.”
Dooley is a radio talk show host, TV talk show host, author, former congressional candidate and former or current member of many high-profile boards both in state government and in the private sector. She and her husband, Vince (who is, of course the former athletic director and coach of the UGA football team) live in Athens, GA.
