Judge OKs Bibb County bonds for latest wave of projects | Politics | Macon.com

A judge authorized more than $13 million in bonds Monday for Bibb County’s government, and projects could have funding available as early as next week.

Superior Court Judge Tilman E. Self III validated the bonds Monday after no one moved to intervene in the case, said Chix Miller, attorney for the Macon-Bibb County Urban Development Authority. The authority may close on $13.225 million in bonds as early as next week.

“I think the governmental requirements are out of the way,” Miller said.
